Eric L. Madison
Executive Director
Eric Madison comes from an extensive career in transit, with a focus on rail transit safety and oversight of heavy rail, light rail and streetcar systems. Over the course of his transit career he has worked for the D.C. Department of Transportation’s Office of Mass Transit, where he conducted planning for the D.C.Streetcar and served as a State Safety Oversight Program Manager for safety oversight of the Washington Metrorail system. He then served as a Team Lead with the Department of Defense to coordinate shuttle, transit, and commuter bus operations for the Pentagon and Mark Center in Virginia. Following the Department of Defense, he worked as a Program Manager for the FTA’s Office of Transit Safety and Oversight to provide program and technical support to 14 State Safety Oversight programs around the country.
Eric’s most recent position before stepping into his current role was as a Senior Consultant with Dovetail Consulting as a safety and security expert on State Safety Oversight Agency projects and for rail transit agency clients.
Eric has a Bachelor’s Degree in History from University of Kentucky. In addition to his volunteer work at the Trolley Museum, Eric served as an intern and development office assistant at the United States Capitol Historical Society.

Abena Prempeh
Museum Educator
Abena Prempeh has a Bachelor of Arts in English from Trinity Washington University, and a Masters of Education in Instructional Design and Technology from Liberty University, as well as experience in learning and development for children of different ages and backgrounds, and developing innovative training programs for the private sector.

Regina Koch
Librarian (volunteer)
Regina Koch has worked in academic, special, government and public libraries during her 30+ year career. She retired from Howard County Library System as a cataloging librarian with experience in organizing and maintaining library materials. She has a Master of Library Science degree from the University of Maryland, College Park.
